Finding the Best Volunteer Organizations in West Chester | VolunteerMatch

Volunteer Match is a non-profit that was founded by the merging of two non-profits back in 1998. It has been promoted by everyone from Oprah Winfrey to the Smithsonian Institution as a first-class organization. Although it serves the entire country and has been instrumental during natural disasters, its strength is providing an effective search engine to communities everywhere. For this reason, the local volunteer search for the West Chester area has made our list. You can do a search by your area of interest (Cause Area). Additional filters include distance (miles, city, county, state), or ideal age group (kids, 55+, Groups, or Teens). In this way, you can discover volunteer opportunities that are just right for you or your family. Opportunities obviously are always changing and being updated. However, as of this writing, the site includes 128 local volunteering possibilities that include coaching, audio/visual assistance, veteran hospice companionship, land restoration, IT support, business mentorship, sewing for hospice and so much more.

No matter what your area of interest or personal skill there is an organization in our area that would appreciate your time and support.
