Strategies for Parents

  • Use kind words and validation everyday.  It's a great way to help fabulous kids through difficult years.

  • Introduce your children to healthy coping strategies like spending time outdoors, journaling, exercise and mindfulness.

  • Teach consistent gratitude.  It's shown to have a direct link to overall life satisfaction.
​
  • Help your child set goals that are SMART - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, yet Reaching, Timely. 
​
  • Talk about your weaknesses.  Kids need to see that failure happens and we go on.
