Until our culture prioritizes children's health over screens, we need each other. As parents, we make tough choices everyday, and connection to other families, equally committed to winning the fight against big tech, may be the lifeline we need most.

Whether your child already has a phone or your child was literally born yesterday, it's never too early or too late to learn more and make change happen. Check all that apply.

I/We recognize that the developing brain makes all children and teens more susceptible to screen addiction and related harms, including anxiety, depression, and suicdal ideation.

I/We pledge to hold myself and my child accountable for responsible screen use with clear and consistent rules and fair, but firm consequences for misuse or broken promises.

I/We acknowledge that the longer we delay and/or limit use of smart screens the more likely we can avoid the associated physical and psychological harms.

I/We pledge to delay use of personal smart devices for my/our children, at least until high school. I recognize that waiting until 18 is better than 16 and 16 is better than 14.

I/We will advocate for my child's schools to support my/our efforts to reduce leisure use of screens.

I/We acknowledge that growing up without a smartphone when many peers have one can be challenging. I/We pledge to seek out families who share our screen use values.

I/We recognize the merits of technology and pledge to teach my.our child(ren) to use in-home technology, as a tool and not a toy.

I/We pledge to provide screen-free zones in my home and screen-free time in our family's schedule.
