Red Ribbon Week

In concert with National Red Ribbon Week, we work together with local schools to bring in dynamic speakers and engage students in signing pledges to live drug free. Each year over 1,800 middle school students sign our pledges. We also connect with area parents and caregivers at a variety of community events to lift up the discussion of underage drinking and encourage families to support healthy brain development in even our youngest residents.

Sign The Pledge

Did you know? According to the National Family Partnership, children of parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely  to use drugs than those who don’t. Yet, only a quarter of teens report having these conversations. Red Ribbon Week® (October 23-31), the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation, is your opportunity to get the conversation started.

To coordinate a pledge signing event at any West Chester school or youth/family serving organization in the West Chester area, please contact us at mobilizer@wcctc.org

Take the pledge and receive our free Brain Health Basics for your refrigerator.
