Building A Community Of
Thriving Teens

Born out of a desire to see youth guide local efforts to improve our community, THRIVE Projects were established as an operational pillar of West Chester Communities that Care (WCCTC).

Each THRIVE Project empowers teens with knowledge about youth mental health, underage substance use, and resilience building strategies. Using this information, alongside marketing basics, student participants create public health campaigns to positively impact their peers. Each THRIVE project results in a student-designed, public healthservice ad to be used in real-world applications, such as transit shelters and billboards across West Chester.

THRIVE Youth Leaders and supporting coalition partners aim to create a lasting impact, shaping a generation of emotionally resilient and mentally healthy individuals.

THRIVE Youth Values

Participating teens seek to build a community where all youth THRIVE. They look to shape a world where no teens use drugs, all teens make a difference and feel connected to their community. THRIVE teens have established three core values on which they focus their work.
