Building A Community Of
Thriving Teens

What is "Fifth Quarter"?

A post-game event where teens can enjoy free food, games, and social time at the YMCA in a safe, welcoming environment. Faith organizations can play a key role in engaging youth and fostering positive connections. This initiative aims to provide wholesome activities and reduce underage drinking while also introducing youth to local faith

Purpose: Both opportunities for prosocial activity and connection to a faith practice are shown to be protective factors for youth. Both areas have been on decline in the greater West Chester area.

Proposed Event Details

📍 Location: Airport Road YMCA, 605 Airport Rd, West Chester, PA
📅 Date: TBD (ideally after a home football game at East HS)
⏰ Time: 2 hours after the game (approx. 9:00–11:00 PM)
